The Carlo Bergonzi Trio consists of three renowned musicians who combine their rich experience in a new chamber music ensemble.

Its name goes back to the Carlo Bergonzi violin from 1723, which Birgit Kolar is playing on loan from the famous collection of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank.

The Carlo Bergonzi Trio is made up of three exceptional instrumentalists who have their roots in different countries: Birgit Kolar from Austria, Alexandra Goloubitskaia from Russia and Adolfo Gutiérrez from Spain. These diverse cultural backgrounds flow harmoniously together and give the ensemble a special, rich tonal language and a repertoire that is as varied as it is diverse.
