SERAPHIN QUARTET

The SERAPHIN QUARTETT WIEN continues the tradition of chamber music ensembles formed from Austria’s great symphonic orchestras – in this case the Vienna Philharmonic and Vienna Symphony Orchestra.

The quartet was founded in 2009, but the members of this quartet have worked together for many years in various chamber music ensembles.

After all these concerts, these four outstanding musicians decided to unite in a typical Viennese string quartet, which is of course mainly dedicated to the repertoire of the classical and romantic Viennese string quartet, the music of the Second Viennese School, as well as arrangements by Lanner and Johann Strauss father and son.
